David de Gea has also signed a new contract at Manchester United before 2023, which includes an option for a further year.
Considering going to Old Trafford, the 28-year-old goalkeeper who joined United in 2011, de Gea, has won the Premier League, the FA Cup, the League Cup and Europa League.
The deal – which will see the Spain international earn involving #350,000 and #375,000 per week makes De Gea the world goalkeeper, Sky Sports News understands.
“It has been a privilege to spend eight years in this terrific club and the opportunity to keep my career at Manchester United is a genuine honor,” said De Gea.
“Ever since I came here, I might not have imagined I would play over 350 matches with this club. Now my future is fixed, all that I want is to help this team reach exactly what I believe we can and win trophies again, jointly.
“I’m committed to continue supporting the fans for all the care they’ve shown me through the good times and the bad.”
